Eagles claim former Jaguars WR off waivers

The Eagles continue to add bodies to the wide receiver room.
The team has announced that they have claimed WR Josh Hammond off of waivers from Jacksonville.
Hammond — 6’0″, 194 pounds — was cut on Monday after the Jaguars brought in three new receivers during training camp. He signed with Jacksonville as an undrafted free agent in 2020 and spent all but two games on the practice squad.
The former Florida Gator caught 87 passes for 1,138 yards and 6 TDs in college. He now joins Keric Wheatfall as the Eagles’ newest pass-catchers on the depth chart.
