AJ Brown shuts down reporter’s stupid chain question

Eagles receiver AJ Brown had his feathers ruffled by an odd question concerning his “JB” chain. A reporter asked him if the chain was meant to represent James Bradberry, one of the team’s top offseason signings.
Brown asked, “Do you think I have another man’s initials around my neck?”
I mean, what a stupid question, right? So you have an Eagles press pass with an opportunity to ask a meaningful question to a top 5 wide receiver in the NFL, and you ask that?
On second thought, it didn’t have to be meaningful; funny does work during training camp. The only problem was that it was not even close to funny.
Joking around or not, it’s a clown question, bro. It makes matters even worse when you realize “JB” are actually Brown’s daughter’s initials. Jersee Brown. Is that so hard to find out?

I guess he was too busy trying to get a wildly unfunny joke in when he should’ve been doing his research. You should not ask a question you don’t know the answer to, and he definitely could have found that answer in .2 seconds.
It may be a bit harsh to roast a random Eagles reporter, but I think everything I’ve said is pretty in-bounds based on Brown’s reaction.
Most reporters aren’t funny. It’s a big reason many of them are good at their job.
I, on the other hand, am hilarious. If the Eagles actually want some quality banter in their press conferences, I’m just a Twitter DM away.
