Jalen Hurts is your NFC Offensive Player of the Month

The meteoric rise of Jalen Hurts through the first three weeks of the 2022 NFL season has been nothing short of spectacular. Today, the NFL recognized him by rewarding the Eagles quarterback with the NFC Offensive Player of the Month Award.Â
In three games this season, Hurts has completed 66 of 98 passes (67.3%) for 916 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception with a 106.5 quarterback rating. On the ground, he’s carried the football 37 times for 167 yards and three touchdowns.
Hurts is averaging nearly 100 more yards per game than he did last season while leading the league at 9.3 yards per attempt and 13.9 yards per completion.

Jalen Hurts has exceeded all expectations through the first three weeks and the fact that there is still room for growth from the young Eagles quarterback makes Philadelphia fans believe that they have something special brewing this season.
Side Note: The last Eagles QB to win offensive player of the month was Carson Wentz in Oct. 2017.
