Eagles snap counts vs. Saints: Miles Sanders gets light workload, Brandon Graham shines

With a golden opportunity to clinch the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC, Philadelphia came up short last week against New Orleans.
A look at the official snap counts from Week 17.
Offense

Notes
Miles Sanders saw just 22 snaps, his lowest usage rate of the season. Perhaps his knee was bothering him as Sanders wore a brace during the game, but a peculiar gameplan considering the QB situation. Boston Scott got 18 snaps, Gainwell close behind with 15.
As expected, Dallas Goedert saw most of the snaps at TE in his second back from a shoulder injury. Goedert was held in check for the most part, catching just three passes for 45 yards.
AJ Brown and DeVomta Smith essentially played all of the snaps on offense. DeVonta Smtih eclipsed 100 yards for the 4th time in five games, solidifying himself as one of the league’s premier wideouts. Brown had the biggest play of the day, catching a 78-yard TD pass from Gardner Minshew, the longest of his career.
Mailata, Dickerson, Kelce, Seumalo, and Driscoll all got played 55 snaps. Minshew was sacked six times; the Eagles are now 9-22 without Lane Johnson in the lineup.

Defense

Brandon Graham saw his highest snap count of the season in relief of Josh Sweat and made the most of it. The 34-year-old veteran had two of the team’s seven sacks, putting him at 11 for the year — a career-high. Graham’s 51 snaps was his highest usage since Week 16 of the 2020 season.
Marcus Epps continues to be the iron man of this defense. He’s played in every snap this season aside from when the starters were pulled against Tennessee.
Josiah Scott got 32 snaps at slot CB and settled in after getting picked on by Chris Olave early. His interception off Andy Dalton kept Philadelphia in the game longer than they probably deserved.
We got another brief Nakobe Dean sighting.
