NFL News: JJ Arcega-Whiteside somehow gets a workout with another team

Our old friend JJAW is trying his hardest to stay in the NFL after fizzling out in Philadelphia.
JJAW (I know he doesn’t deserve the nickname, but I’m not typing it out) was drafted by the Eagles in 2020 but struggled to find his footing in the pros. Failing to come remotely close to expectations coming out of Stanford, JJAW transitioned from wide receiver to tight end with the hopes of reviving his career, but no headway was made.
After an arduous three years in Philly, the team traded JJAW to Seattle for peanuts, who then waived him two weeks later.
The former second-round pick may have found his next opportunity, however, as he’s reportedly landed a workout with the Carolina Panthers:
The Panthers worked out free agent WR/TE J.J. Arcega-Whiteside.

He spent the first half of the 2022 season with the Seahawks after being traded from the Eagles.
To his credit, the kid always worked hard and did what he could to help the team. It just didn’t work out.
JJAW caught just 16 passes for 290 yards during his tenure with the Eagles.
