“We are thrilled to be adding such an accomplished group of players to the Senior Bowl Hall of Fame,” said Nagy. “These men were among the best of the best coming out of college and they all went on to have incredible pro careers. Each one of them was among the greatest players at their respective positions and we are grateful their NFL journeys began here in Mobile.”

Aside from the two Eagles players getting inducted, Packers OLB Clay Matthews, Titans RB Chris Johnson, and Ravens OL Marshal Yanda will also join this esteemed group.

Westbrook was outstanding during his senior season of collegiate ball. The former Villanova Wildcat amassed 2,823 total yards and scored a whopping 29 touchdowns as a senior, en route to getting selected in the third-round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the Eagles.

In the NFL, Westbrook was widely considered the best dual-threat back in the league, routinely dicing defense up on the ground and in the passing game. He was inducted into the Villanova University Varsity Club Hall of Fame in 2016, before being inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame just this year.

Johnson was also a force during his senior season at Oklahoma. He took home the Most Outstanding Lineman Award during his week in Mobile, Alabama and is now arguably the best offensive lineman in the sport. If he adds another year or two of excellent play to his resume, this won’t be the last time Johnson gets inducted into a Hall of Fame.

Both Johnson and Westbrook will be inducted on June 25 at the Grand Hotel Golf Club & Spa in Point Clear, Alabama.
