WATCH: Dodgers fan completes baseball trifecta, catches a foul ball while holding a baby and a beer

A Los Angeles Dodgers fan achieved greatness yesterday by successfully completing a “baseball trifecta” by catching a foul ball while holding a baby and a beer.
Baseball Trifecta: Dodgers Fan Catches Foul Ball while Holding Baby and a Beer
We need to take a moment and make sure everyone is on the same page here before I continue.
I don’t have any kids.
The majority of you already know that after the Chicago Cubs fan article(s) that I wrote went viral and the comment sections on each were flooded with people saying that I’m nothing but a pessimistic, jealous asshole that is in desperate need of my own love story because apparently “love is ruined for me” and now I want to ruin it for everyone else.
Literally not true. I’m not jealous.
As you’ll see in this article, I’m actually the opposite of jealous and couldn’t be happier for this guy who did what many dads probably only dream of achieving during fatherhood. Plus, Dodgers fans needed a win after the one fan got truck-sticked on on Opening Day by security after hopping onto the baseball field to propose to his girlfriend.
This post is to praise a legendary performance, with this dad reaching the peak of fatherhood by catching a baseball with a beer and child in hand. Nothing more. Nothing less. It’s not about me at all so let’s save the comment section topics for something else.
A hero has risen from the ashes with this absolute legend who again, achieved what every man in the United States of America hopes to do in his lifetime. The baseball trifecta of holding your own child while drinking a beer and catching a baseball is one of the most coveted experiences by a father and he made the entire thing look completely effortless.
It’s literally peak male performance.
Of course, with any viral video, there’s opportunity to be had. This guy needs to call up whatever baby carrier front-backpack thing that he was using and tell them he needs a lifetime sponsorship. Call the sunglasses company and say those shades gave him the ability to make this catch with baby and beer in hand. Have the beer company run a campaign with him drinking whatever beer it is while achieving greatness.
Regardless, you get my point. This is the perfect video ad for whatever company that is and if this guy is smart, he’d be in contact with them already to make some extra cash as quickly as possible.
It’s what every great viral sensation attempts to do when they are suddenly thrown into the spotlight. We saw it last month with the Masters Girl and of course, you have that couple in Chicago with their whole “love story” after swapping numbers in real time out in the bleachers at Wrigley Field.
It’s the right move to make if you can pull it off and when you have an absolute legend pulling off a baseball trifecta, there’s definitely an opportunity if you play your cards right.
- Masters Girl – Golf Influencer
- Chicago Cubs Couple – You Don’t Need a Dating App, just an iPhone (genius ad I know)
- Baseball Trifecta – Beer Sponsor, Sunglasses Sponsor, Baby Carrier Sponsor
We’ll also see how the tweet below plays out. It’s not about the money or going viral on this one. That’s just true love, baby. I’m taking the comment sections advice and opening my heart to any and all possibilities.
My moment hasn’t arrived quite yet and we’ll see how that plays out but at the very least, we have dads in major league ball parks becoming legends like this Dodgers fan above.
