Scott Boras: Bryce Harper recovered quickly because he’s a “healing genius”

Bryce Harper’s return from Tommy John has been nothing short of historic. He makes his way back into the lineup only 159 after going under the knife. Which begs the question, how the hell is that even possible? Well, his agent let us know in an interview with the Athletic.
Scott Boras attributes Harper’s recovery to his being a “healing genius” with an “MLB centurion elite” skillset:

Well, Scott Boras is clearly a very eloquent man and, much like Harper, far from normal. I don’t know exactly what constitutes a “healing genius,” but I do know I possess none of those traits.
MLB Centurioun elite is something that’s going to stick with me for a long time though. I’m going to try and make a point to shoe-horn that into any conversation I have about the Phillies and see if it finally makes people like me.
At any rate, Bryce is back in a Phillies uniform on May 1st and only missed 30 total baseball games. You can use whatever phrases you like to try and describe how absurd that is, but I don’t think anything will help anybody actually comprehend it.
Honestly, I don’t know why we were even surprised. I think we all know exactly what Bryce Harper is at this point, and it’s not human. At least, not fully…
