Eagles Injury Report: DeVonta Smith and a pair of linebackers miss Thursday practice

Fresh off their embarrassing loss Monday night out in Seattle, the Philadelphia Eagles are pretty banged up heading into the holiday weekend.

On Thursday, several players missed practice, including WR DeVonta Smith and linebackers Zach Cunningham and Nicholas Morrow.

We already knew Darius Slay and Landon Dickerson would be out for this upcoming Christmas day contest against the New York Giants. Slay will likely miss the rest of the regular season after getting surgery last week, and Dickerson will miss at least one game after getting thumb surgery on Tuesday.

As for Smith and the pair of linebackers, their status for Monday is still unknown. Cunningham missed the Seattle game with the same lingering knee issue. If he’s unable to go again for the second straight week, hopefully Morrow will be able to go.

We’ll get a clearer picture on the injury status for these guys on Friday.
