LISTEN: 94WIP caller curses out Jack Fritz as Eagles fans try to cope with Wildcard blowout

We’re down bad in the city of Philadelphia right now. The hosts at Sports Radio 94WIP knows this more than anyone, as they field calls everyday from us degenerates, letting us spew whatever nonsensical takes we have at any given moment.

It’s especially bad when the Eagles let us down, which is exactly what they’ve done for the past two months, culminating in a complete no-show against Tampa Bay in the Wildcard round.

One of the more popular 94WIP callers, Chuck from Mt. Airy, called into the afternoon show to talk to hosts Ike Reese and Jack Fritz. He went on a rant, and when Fritz asked him to get to his point, Chuck didn’t take too kindly to it. He told Fritz he sucked at his job and capped it all off by telling the host to “shut the fuck up.”

I’m not the biggest 94WIP fan and I try to take everything take they have with a grain of salt. But I’m also not a huge fan of this kind of behavior either. It wreaks of entitlement. You’re calling into a sports talk show to talk sports, not get into a personal argument with one of the hosts. You’re also not that special – I’d venture to say more than 50 percent of listeners don’t give a shit what you have to say.

Nevertheless, this kind of stuff is par for the course right now. The Eagles had one of the worst meltdowns we’ve seen in this city, so of course, the fans are going to completely meltdown as well.
