It was really only a matter of time before someone tried to climb up the Sphere, right?
Of course it happened ahead of Super Bowl LVIII.
Las Vegas is going to be an absolute madhouse for the next 4-5 days and honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if we end up see multiple people up there in the near future.
I do have to say, not having an exit plan is a massive misstep in climbing the Sphere. I’m not sure how anyone would expect to get down and maybe the guy was banking on a secret door where he should lift up and ladder down inside?
Seems like poor planning.
UPDATE: Okay so that’s on me for not doing the appropriate amount of research it looks like the dude, who is a pro-life activist was able to get down from the sphere through a hatch up top (nailed it) and just like that, we’re in business.

Note: I’m not going to rip or support this kid for being a pro-life activist. After tweeting that the Phillies should sign Trevor Bauer yesterday, I’ve heard enough from the uninformed losers on social media.
I will apologize to this kid, who was reportedly trying to raise money for a homeless pregnant woman. Any time we’re talking Vegas and the Super Bowl, I figured it was just someone who lost everything at the casino and has been on a week-long bender and lost their mind. That is clearly not the case.
There are better ways to raise money though right? How exactly he did he help the homeless woman by climbing the Sphere? I’m not really too sure. Maybe he posts the video, it racks up views, and he’s able to monetize it then donate whatever money he brings in?
Regardless, I’m much more on the side of any activist that’s actually doing shit that makes sense. This guy wasn’t lighting himself on fire at a tennis match or gluing himself to the floor at an NBA basketball game. He’s not tweeting ridiculous shit like PETA or blocking roads and highways. He’s out there climbing a 366-foot sphere. You have to give credit where credit is earned.
Anyways, I was hoping this guy was a Nick Foles fan and after seeing that big ball lit up with the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl ring a few nights ago, he was drawn to it and had to take the chance of getting on top of Big Dick Nick’s (pause) ring.
