‘We are not done yet:’ Howie Roseman hints at another big move for the Eagles
With the annual NFL owners meeting underway down in Florida, we had an opportunity to hear Eagles GM Howie Roseman speak for the first time since the end of the season.
He gave his typical Howie responses, praising the guys on his roster and hyping up the free agents he just brought in. To close things out, he left us with a pretty strong statement that should excite Eagles fans.

“We are not done yet,” Roseman told media members. “We’re always looking and working and trying to improve our roster. We have a lot of work ahead of us and we’re looking forward to preparing for a big NFL Draft weekend.”
This could just mean he’s looking forward to the NFL Draft and all the potential maneuvering he could pull off. Or, it could mean he’s eyeing another splash move. I tend to think it’s the latter.
The biggest fish still on the market is probably Justin Simmons. Although it was reported that the Eagles were out of the running, that doesn’t mean Howie Roseman won’t revisit it. Simmons clearly isn’t getting the type of money he thought he would, so why not come to Philly on a one-year prove it deal?
That would certainly constitute as a ‘splash move.’ One that would not only hype up the fan base, but also solidify this new-look Eagles secondary.
Howie, you know what to do.
