PFF placed Jalen Hurts shockingly low in Top 10 QB rankings

Pro Football Focus released a top 10 QB ranking this week, with Eagles star Jalen Hurts slotting in the no. 9 spot on the list. Needless to say, that’s questionable at best.

Jalen Hurts was utterly disrespected in these PFF rankings:

Jalen Hurts was ranked as the No. 9 overall QB in the NFL by @PFF's @TampaBayTre.

Here are his top 10 QBs:

1. Patrick Mahomes
2. Lamar Jackson
3. Joe Burrow
4. Josh Allen
5. Justin Herbert
6. Dak Prescott
7. Matthew Stafford
8. Aaron Rodgers
9. Jalen Hurts
10. C.J. Stroud pic.twitter.com/URCf9MC4Qn

Don’t get me wrong, being named a top 10 QB in the NFL is no small feat. But when looking at this list, I can’t help but raise an eyebrow.

I understand that he regressed in the passing game last year. Even though the majority of blame was on the offensive play calling and coaching staff, I get that it will hurt his ranking.

I’m not even here to make an argument for him to be top 5 or anything like that. You could argue a few spots here and there, but honestly, I really only have one QB ahead of him that absolutely should not be.

If you haven’t guessed, it’s Dak Prescott.

I just don’t see how you can put together this list in good faith and have Dak Prescott above Jalen Hurts, and definitely not in the no. 6 spot. Even if you’re a Hurts hater and think Dak is better, he’s not a top 6 NFL QB. There’s just no way.
