Disgusting Behavior: Chennedy Carter cheap-shot on Caitlin Clark and embarrassing post game presser is the latest example of ‘biting the hand that feeds’ in the WNBA

Caitlin Clark was knocked to the floor by Chennedy Carter late int he third quarter of the Indiana Fever’s 71-70 win over the Chicago Sky at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Carter’s hip-check on Clark was a non-basketball play and left almost everyone who watched the incident in shock that no flagrant foul was called.

Afterwards, Chennedy Carter refused to answer questions about her incident with Clark saying that “she ain’t answering no Caitlin Clark questions” – in an embarrassing post game press conference.

Cool.

Chennedy Carter is completely oblivious and really, ungrateful for what Caitlin Clark has done for women’s basketball.

It’s embarrassing behavior that doesn’t stop with Carter specifically. For months, there’s been other WNBA players criticizing Clark, failing to realize that she’s the sole reason they have a platform in the first place.

Maybe this was her moment to become relevant? Never heard of her before this play but there has to be a better way to get attention than calling Clark a bitch before truck-sticking her to the court and then cowardly looking over to the bench for support from Angel Reese.

Oh. As for Angel Reese celebrating from the bench, she’s a dork too. As Drake once said, “bench players acting like they are starters and I hate it.” The former LSU star and known Caitlin Clark rival was cheering from the bench.

Honestly, the Caitlin Clark hate needs to stop. At this point, I hope she joins Ice Cube’s Big 3 League for millions of dollars and sends the WNBA back to being an irrelevant, non-profitable basketball league flying on Southwest Airlines to play in front of a few hundred people every night.

I’m not writing about the WNBA for any other reason than Caitlin Clark. Literally no one is even watching the WNBA outside for Caitlin Clark. She deserves better but the hate just keeps on coming.

Hopefully, other players will clean their act up and start respecting what she’s done for the game, rather than criticizing and acting like a bunch of jealous babies with any chance they get.
