Report: Eagles make two roster moves, release veteran tight end
The Eagles made a couple of roster moves ahead of their final training camp practice.
Per the team’s announcement, Philadelphia has waived veteran TE C.J. Uzomah and signed OL Jason Poe.

After Jack Stoll left the Eagles in free agency, Uzomah signed with the team in April to compete with Grant Calcaterra for the backup role.
Uzomah failed to impress in camp, however, looking a step slower than in years past as Calcaterra consistently made plays.
The 31-year-old played in Cincinatti for seven seasons before spending the last two years with the Jets. His most productive season came in 2021 when the Bengals made the Super Bowl. Uzomah caught 49 passes from Joe Burrow that season for 493 yards and five touchdowns.
As of now, the Eagles’ tight end depth chart is Dallas Goedert, Grant Calcaterra, and Albert Okwuegbunam.
