Eagles continue to bring Penn State alums home, meaning Micah Parsons could be next
Micah Parsons has always secretly wanted to be on the Philadelphia Eagles. Despite what Cowboys fans say, the bread crumbs for an eventual Parsons to Philly move have been clearly laid out.
Every time the Eagles make a big move, Parsons has something to say about it. And more often than not, he’s praising Howie Roseman and the organization. This offseason, Howie has brought in a few of Parsons’ former teammates at Penn State, Saquon Barkley and Jahan Dotson.
Knowing how Parsons typically reacts to Eagles moves, it was surprising to see him remain silent after the Dotson move on Thursday. Most Cowboys fans will say it’s because he’s focused on the upcoming season, but we all know what it truly means. He’s upset, all of his buds are forming a Super Bowl contender that he and his Cowboys are going to have to face twice a year.
There’s only solution to his woes.
Micah Parsons will be the next Penn State alum to join the Eagles
Dallas is in a bad spot right now. They didn’t make any substantial moves this offseason, while they’re paying Dak Prescott $60 million. With all this cap space dedicated to one player, they haven’t been able to spread the wealth around at all — leaving Parsons, and his teammate CeeDee Lamb, on the outside looking in.
Parsons’ frustration with the franchise is well documented. He wants to get paid and has already shown his allegiance to Lamb after Jerry Jones said publicly that he’s in no rush to get deals done.
We’ve also heard reports of the organization’s frustrations with Parsons. His defensive teammate, Malik Hooker, even came out and told Parsons to lay off the podcast and focus on football. Parsons was not very happy about this, taking to Twitter to air out their dispute.

By the looks of it, Parsons needs a fresh start. His teammates don’t seem to like him, the organization isn’t paying him, and all of his friends are former a super team in his own division. Why not just rip the band-aid off, request a trade, and work your way to the Eagles?
It’s the best case scenario for Parsons. He may not want to admit it, but in his heart of hearts, he knows it to be true.
At this point, I’d be shocked if he didn’t end up in midnight green. And I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens sooner than we expect.
