Dallas Cowboys Micah Parsons, Trevon Diggs rank Jalen Hurts a top-8 NFL QB, leave Dak Prescott off the list

Dallas Cowboys edge rusher and wannabe Eagle Micah Parsons had his teammate Trevon Diggs on his podcast. They got to talking about Washington Commanders rookie Jayden Daniels and where he ranks amongst the top NFL QBs, and ended up listing their Top 8 signal callers in the league.

The two Cowboys defenders had great things to say about Jalen Hurts, while leaving their own QB out of the conversation:

Micah Parson’s podcast continues to be the craziest piece of serialized media I’ve ever seen. He routinely talks up players from rival teams, and even has Eagles players like Darius Slay on the show.

This is clearly a new age in the NFL. I don’t know how you can leave your franchise QB off of a public list on your own show. Even if you don’t believe, you have to have the presence of mind to say it.

Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but on the other hand, maybe I’m not. We saw Trevon Diggs get into it with Dak during training camp in 2023. So there’s a chance this was a thinly veiled shot at their QB.

That would be typical of a Jerry Jones-run franchise. Just diva-central over there.

I, for one, hope Dak remains a Cowboy as long as possible. His weaponized incompetence is crucial in keeping the franchise weak moving forward.
