Fletcher Cox defends Nick Sirianni: “All he does is win”
Former Eagle Fletcher Cox went on Up & Adams to talk Birds and gave a glowing review of his former head coach Nick Sirianni. Kay Adams asked about Sirianni’s relationship with Eagles fans, and Fletch was quick to praise him.
Fletcher Cox doesn’t want to hear the nonsense talk about Nick Sirianni:

Fletch is right, Sirianni has the ninth-highest winning percentage in NFL history since he took over as head coach of the Eagles. And he’s done it while being hated on and doubted since his introductory press conference.
Sure, there have been ups and downs including last season’s entirely inexcusable collapse to close out the year, but it’s clear he’s got some sort of winning formula.
Sirianni’s role as CEO head coach has fans questions what exactly he does for the Eagles, but there are plenty of coaches that don’t call plays on either side of the ball. Nobody’s stupid enough to ask what Dan Campbell’s job is in Detroit, and he’s only won one more game than Sirianni this season.
The Eagles players clearly love playing for Nick Sirianni. Feltcher Cox wouldn’t openly defend him and list his resume if he didn’t He’s far enough removed from the organization that he could say whatever he want or at least waffle a bit at the question.
When you look at how Sirianni conducts itself, it’s easy to see why that is. Sure he can be a bit of an immature lunatic at times, but he’s 100% authentic to who he is. That’s how you rally players to give their all and go win football games.
His speech to players this week is a perfect example of that. It’s why even though he’s a bit of a nut job, players want to play for him and each other.
