Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce get bombarded with questions about favorable officiating by Super Bowl media

Super Bowl media has been a circus this year, but I have to give props to this guy who asked Chiefs players the hard hitting questions.

I have no idea who this man is or who how he got credentials to be at Opening Night. His mic just says ‘Sports’ and he’s wearing all black. The man is a ghost as far as I’m concerned.

Nevertheless, he managed to ask both Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce about some of the favorable officiating they’ve received throughout the years. Truly a masterful troll job by him.

Mahomes actually plays it off pretty well here. Travis, on the other hand, seems pretty ticked off. Look, at the end of the day, football is just a sport and you really can’t take it so seriously.

Should this guy be allowed back next year? No.

Am I glad he got his chance to ask these questions? Absolutely.

For all the people saying he’s just poking the bear — shut up. This is professional football on the biggest stage in sports, take your emotions out of it. Execution and doing your job at a high level is all that matters, not some made up motivation Chiefs players might get from getting this narrative.

If this does motivate them more, congrats. It won’t matter come Sunday.
