WATCH: Cowherd suggests Eagles should trade AJ Brown for being ‘chatty’

I like Colin Cowherd, for the most part. But every now and again, he has a take that simply doesn’t make sense. This is one of them.

On Friday’s edition of The Herd, Cowherd and his co-host, Jason McIntyre, got into a debate over the Eagles trading AJ Brown this offseason. To be clear, this is not going to happen. And the clip that stirred this debate wasn’t even worth debating, to be honest.

They played a clip for Brown’s appearance of Gillie Da Kid’s podcast, where he gets into the background of him and Jalen Hurts. He doesn’t bad mouth his QB at all — all he says at the two are competitors and sometimes competitors bump heads a little. No harm, no foul.

Cowherd had a different reaction to the clip.

Shoutout to McIntyre here for combating Colin. The Eagles just proved they can win Super Bowls with a ‘chatty’ wideout. So what point are you even trying to make here?

Sure, I wouldn’t mind if Brown didn’t say certain things. I also understand that these players are human and sometimes emotions get the better of them.

Philly isn’t going to trade Brown and they certainly aren’t going to give him an ultimatum, like Cowherd suggests in this clip.

Just stupid stuff all around. Be better, Colin.
