The Abdul Carter to the Eagles dream is officially over (for now). The New York Giants have selected the Penn State product with the third overall selection in the NFL Draft.

Not only is Carter the biggest Birds fan in this year’s draft class, he’s probably the biggest Eagles fan to ever be drafted.
He was at the Birds Super Bowl after party, held the Lombardi Trophy, and even had a custom Super Bowl jacket made for himself. Honestly, I wouldn’t be shocked if he ends up playing for the Birds at some point. Once he realizes he’s in NFL purgatory with the Giants, he’ll force his way out and join a winner — just like Saquon Barkley did.
