Jalen Hurts says he would team up with Bryce Harper and play centerfield for the Phillies
The Philadelphia Eagles officially started training camp today and in a question for the media guide, Jalen Hurts was asked if he could play a different sport and position, what he would pick.
Hurts answered by saying that he would team up with Bryce Harper and the Phillies to play shortstop or centerfield.
Jalen Hurts says he would team up with Bryce Harper and play centerfield…
Shortstop is taken, obviously, but centerfield is wide open for Jalen Hurts to slide in down the stretch and into Red October.
Honestly, the Phillies should sign Jalen Hurts and the Eagles can hand over QB1 to the Mormon Missile Tanner McKee until the Birds have to travel to Green Bay to tush push all over the crybaby Packers.
Hurts can play against the Cowboys Week 1 and remain QB1 through Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams. From there, Tanner McKee can handle the Buccaneers, Broncos, Giants, Vikings, and Giants again until the Birds play the Packers.
It makes perfect sense, honestly and would be the latest selfless act from our franchise quarterback. We all remember Hurts in the batting cage. I honestly wouldn’t be opposed to add AJ Brown in left field too.
Brown, Hurts, Casty in the outfield would be ELITE.
Honestly, we’ve been pushing the AJ Brown to the Phillies agenda for years. Adding Hurts would make things even better.
Could Eagles star WR AJ Brown play Centerfield for the Phillies?

Get these guys in the mix to help the Phillies win a World Series and then get back to work on a repeat with the Eagles.
Genius, really.
Jalen Hurts is a World Champion and Super Bowl MVP. You can’t possibly make the case to start Johan Rojas or Brandon Marsh over him in centerfield. It would also clear up a lot ahead of next week’s MLB Trade Deadline for Dave Dombrowski.
