76ers bring back wing Ryan Broekhoff

Free agent forward Ryan Broekhoff has agreed to return to the Philadelphia 76ers. Broekhoff was signed initially this summer as part of the roster extension ahead of the bubble but opted out due to personal issues.
The 30 year old spent two seasons with the Dallas Mavericks but was waived halfway through last season. He is known for his perimeter shooting, averaging 40% from deep in 59 NBA games.
At 6’7, Broekhoff can play at the four which has been thin since the trade of Al Horford. Mike Scott is the only player off the bench who could play there before the signing.
This continues the 76ers trend of adding shooting. Danny Green, Seth Curry, and Isaiah Joe join Ryan as newly added threats from deep to help assist Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons.
The 76ers stand at 15 full-time players, with Paul Reed likely getting a 2 way contract. Barring any trades it looks like the Sixers roster is set ahead of next month’s return to play.
