Yu Darvish “might have to punch” Kyle Schwarber after 488ft bomb

Kyle Schwarber’s 488ft home run off Yu Darvish elicited electric reactions from players and fans on both sides of the NLCS. The two are former teammates with the Cubs, but the Padres pitcher said he might have to have a little something for Kyle the next time he sees him.
Darvish delivered the line via his translator after the game:
Honestly, I can’t blame Darvish for feeling like this. His old buddy took him deep with the longest home run in MLB postseason history.
I know totally mostly joking, but he looks dead serious. I guess it’s hard not to look stone faced when you pitched a gem but gave up two nukes and lost 2-0.
My favorite part of he video by far is the look on the translator’s face during this exchange. He clearly can’t help but laugh, even while the guy he’s translating for looks like he saw a ghost.

Damn. I couldn’t imagine laughing like that while my homie was trapped in a glass case of emotion. Either way, it’s a hilarious moment in what has been a comical string of reactions to Schwarber’s historic blast.
At this point, I only have one thing left to say to Yu Darvish: Happy SchwarberFest!
