FAKE NEWS: Bryson Stott does not put ranch dressing on ice cream

Taryn Hatcher dropped a questionable tidbit about Bryson Stott during the game broadcast against the Royals on Sunday that made a lot of Phillies fans uncomfortable.
There’s no easy way to say it, so I’ll just get right to the point.
According to Hatcher, Bryson Stott puts ranch dressing on his ice cream:
Oh god, that’s disgusting. How the hell does someone like that exist?
That’s a question I would ask if I didn’t already know that the claim was just another example of fake news and misinformation being spread around ballparks in America.
How do I know this is fake news? Easy, we had an article debunking that ugly rumor back in early 2022. We thought we’d put the issue to bed, but it appears we were wrong.
Backstory:
In February 2022, news broke out that Stott put ranch dressing on his ice cream and given the accusation, he was getting slammed across social media.
Luckily, we quickly learned that it was fake news. Stott, who plays Fortnite with Cincinnati Reds pitcher Amir Garrett, was apparently getting shit on for not dropping with the squad. He whipped out an excuse saying that was getting ice cream and told Garrett that he was putting ranch on it.
Bryson Stott Explains Ranch Dressing Rumor
If I’m Bryson Stott, I’m at least mulling over the idea of suing NBC Sports Philadelphia for slander. This case was closed over a year ago.
In today’s game, picked up Taijuan Walker and his teammates after crushing a game-tying 3-run home run in the bottom of the first inning.
Bryson Stott Game-Tying 3-Run Home Run
Stott also made one of the prettiest catches I’ve seed at second base since Chase Utley roamed the sacred grounds of Citizens Bank Park.
Bryson Stott is batting .302 with a .783 OPS on the season. He has 10 home runs, 43 RBI, and 20 stolen bases on the year. Over his last 30 games, he’s slashing .333/.385/.514 with three home runs, 13 RBI, and seven stolen bases.
Point being, bringing back up such a disgusting accusation against the Philadelphia Phillies hottest player right now serves only as a tool to damage is reputation.
Now, there may be some that view the resurfacing of these allegations as proof that Stott does, in fact, put ranch on his ice cream. I am disgusted by these people. Leave this young man alone.
Take a good look at the man you’re slandering right now. Just despicable stuff.

Thank You for finally confirming that this was fake news! I didn’t know that Bryson Stott plays video games with Amir Garrett. That’s cool!
