Jalen Hurts: “When did winning not become the main thing?”

Jalen Hurts is a man of principle. He doesn’t play football to stuff the stat sheet regardless of the result; he wants to win. In a recent press conference, he had to remind reporters of what the most important thing to him and the team is.

Hurts let Eskin know where his priorities lie:

Now, it is important to note that the Eagles players themselves aren’t exactly thrilled with their performances to start the year, even with a 2-0 record. Jason Kelce himself said the team is a bit on edge after the first two games of the season.

But when it comes down to it, winning really is the main thing. No one is denying these first two matchups were a little ugly from time to time, but the media has seriously blown it out of proportion.

These guys are 2-0, not 0-2. We should be a loooong way away from pressing the panic button when it comes to Jalen Hurts and the Eagles as a whole.

Sure, they have a lot of things they can improve on, but there should be no cause for concern at present.
