Victory Monday: Unlucky Eagles fan is definitely having a miserable morning after literal run-in with the cops on Pattison Ave last night
EAGLES FAN ARRESTED – The city of Philadelphia was electric on Sunday after the Eagles took care of business against the Rams, earning their spot in the NFC Championship. But for one unlucky Eagles fan, the day ended in absolute disaster, and no amount of Jalen Hurts heroics or Saquon Barkley brilliance could soften the blow.
If you haven’t seen the video making the rounds, check it out here. The clip doesn’t provide all the context, but it’s pretty clear this guy made some highly questionable decisions. Let’s run the tape.
Eagles Fan Arrested On Pattison Ave After The Eagles Game:
The Reverse Maneuver That Went Horribly Wrong
This Eagles fan definitely wants that reverse-move back. From what it looks like, our guy was driving down Pattison Ave. with a cop trailing him when he realized there were a ton of cops up ahead, obviously.
Instead of just pulling over or trying his luck, he made the genius decision to throw it into reverse—right into the police SUV that was following him.
Yes, this man crashed into the cops and that’s when the video, in my opinion, took a turn for the worse. The guy gets dragged out of the car, face-planted into the cold, wet street, and cuffed on the spot. It’s not exactly how most Eagles fans imagined ending their night of celebration.
Face Down in South Philly Slush
Again, the worst part of this video isn’t even the crash or the arrest. It’s the fact that this poor soul is face down in the middle of Pattison Ave., in a mix of snow, ice, and who-knows-what-else. That stuff isn’t just wet—it’s dirty South Philly slush. The kind of stuff that soaks through your clothes and sticks with you long after you’re back inside or in this case, spending the night in jail.
Imagine tailgating all morning, braving the elements to watch the Eagles secure a huge playoff win, and then ending your day like this. It’s the kind of brutal ending you wouldn’t wish on your worst division rival. Well, maybe Cowboys, Commanders, and Giants fans but you get the point.
Side Note: I really was hoping for a “Go Eagles” or a classic “Go Birds” from the Eagles fan getting arrested but what can ya do…
What Was the Plan, Exactly?
Honestly, I don’t like clips like this. They always seem to leave more questions than answers.
It’s hard not to wonder what this guy thought was going to happen. Driving in reverse to avoid the cops? On Pattison Ave.? After an Eagles game? That’s about as doomed a plan as expecting Dak Prescott to win you a playoff game.
Instead of celebrating Victory Monday, this dude is probably sitting in a holding cell somewhere, replaying the night in his head and wondering where it all went wrong, but hopefully, he’ll rebound quickly and lock-in for the Commanders back in South Philly on Sunday.
A Lesson for All Eagles Fans
The moral of the story? Don’t overcomplicate things. Celebrate responsibly. And for the love of the Linc, if you see a dozen cop cars ahead of you, just pull over. You lost. You’re busted. This isn’t Grand Theft Auto. Pack it in and face the consequences.
Victory Mondays are sacred in Philly. Don’t be the guy who trades it for a night in the clink and a date with South Philly slush.
