Jason Kelce Bills Chiefs

Jason Kelce outstaged Taylor Swift, went ballistic with Bills and Chiefs fans in Buffalo during the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs

Jason Kelce was in Orchard Park, New York on Sunday night to watch his brother Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs.

It’s safe to say that Kelce handled watching a Chiefs game a little differently than his brother’s girlfriend, who happens to be Taylor Swift. Kelce was in the mix before the game, tailgating with Bills Mafia and drinking beer out of a bowling bar in the parking lots.

Honestly, Kelce essentially saved the broadcast for NFL fans. Typically during Chiefs games, all you ever see from the stands is images of Taylor Swift and the Mahomes crew boringly sitting behind glass watching the game. And no, you can miss me with the whole “Taylor Swift is criticized for cheering but when Jason Kelce does it, it’s fine?” narrative that some of you felt the need of poising every social media timeline with last night.

The two things aren’t even relatable and anyone saying that is just a miserable person.

When you have Jason Kelce, a certified NFL legend, future Hall of Fame center, and brother of Travis Kelce, attending a game in the freezing cold, shirtless, while chugging beers in the parking lot beforehand with one of the most rabid fanbases, followed by going absolutely insane in the club suites after his brother scored a touchdown, while interacting with fans of both teams, that’s special.

As I’m sure you know, Kelce has been all over NFL headlines ever since the Eagles were eliminated from playoff contention at the hands of Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Adam “The Rat” Schefter initially reported that Kelce would be retiring but the Eagles’ legend addressed that report directly on the New Heights Podcast, stating that he would make an official announcement “when he’s ready.”

Someone let Jason Kelce know that he has plenty of more football left to play.

I mean seriously, that is peak male performance right there. No wonder Kelce is the best NFL center of all time.

At the same time, I’d gladly take Kelce roaming the parking lots outside Lincoln Financial Field on an Eagles’ game day slamming beers and mixing it up with fans before the game. Luckily, we’ll likely see more of Kelce when the Chiefs head to Baltimore to face the Ravens in the AFC Championship Game next weekend.
